I’m glad to be writing again. I just updated the True Yoga Blog, as well…you can read the most recent post here. Life is certainly a little busier these days with two blogs and a book, but, I am loving it. I love blogging, writing and sharing inspiration and beneficial information with everyone.
So, what’s the most recent news? I have been searching for an all natural shampoo and conditioner for years and I finally found one I love…Glossy Locks. You can learn more about it on the Glossy Locks website here. I will definitely be posting this product on the Fresh Fruit Cleanse product page, (being currently designed) as well as, all of the other products I love and discover I love, along the way. I really think I had kind of given up on an affordable and awesome all-natural shampoo and conditioner until Glossy Locks came along. It’s restored my hope and faith that all-natural doesn’t have to mean you compromise looking and feeling great. In fact, ideally, all-natural means you feel even better and with Glossy Locks you will. By the way, none of that is a paid advertisesment…I just really feel that way 🙂
I’m a big believer in all-natural products but I have also had a difficult time finding an all-natural skin care line that I love. I am trying out a line, currently, and so far so good. I will let you know what I think after a couple of months of using it regularly. It is about 95% natural, which, is pretty good when it comes to skin care…
I’ve been writing about the Detox Blast Smoothie a lot but I don’t think it’s possible to overemphasize how good lemons are for you. So, I highly recommend to drink and eat your lemons regularly and you will look and feel so much better.
As I mentioned in a couple of previous posts, I had let myself verge off the totally pure path with my diet, a little bit, in the last few months. In the Fresh Fruit Cleanse book I write about something called the zigzag method. The zigzag method is something I learned about from motivational speaker and lifestyle guru, Anthony Robbins, when I attended his health and wellness seminar called Life Mastery in 2003. I learned from some of the most well-known health and wellness gurus in the world at the seminar. I do my best to follow and live by this method, and, I have found it works wonders in life to have a healthy program you follow, most of the time, but to also let yourself be carefree and a little indulgent once-in-a-while, too. Here is an excerpt from the Fresh Fruit Cleanse book.
“The zigzag method is a way of living healthily but still letting yourself enjoy something that’s not so healthy from time to time. When we realize the only real lasting joy comes through healthy living practices and meditation, then we can enjoy the pleasures of life, in moderation. With the zigzag method, you eat a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains five days a week and then let yourself enjoy more indulgent meals the other two days.
You might find the occasional indlugent meal or treat is also healing for your body, mind and soul. Maybe it will remind you of growing up and sharing a special meal with someone you loved so much. In that moment, you’ll remember how loved you are and that all is well in life. Deprviation or denial is not the answer. Eat healthily most of the time, but let all food in moderation, nourish you.” – Fresh Fruit Cleanse
So, enjoy the Turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing and pumpkin pie next week. Don’t overdo it, but, do it without feeling guilty because with a healthy nutritional program like the Fresh Fruit Cleanse book, you can get right back into your healthy lifestyle and beautifully fit body as soon as you are ready. Just a couple days of Fresh Fruit Cleansing will melt any extra pounds away in a healthy, safe and nutritiously delicious way.
In fact, it’s lunchtime and I’m getting a little hungry. I think I’ll go make some Fruit Day Spaghetti from the Fresh Fruit Cleanse book now. Maybe I’ll be able to take a pic and post it on here, as well. When I’m not on the Fresh Fruit Cleanse, I’ll sometimes add a little extra pizazz to the dishes, too. They don’t really need it because they taste so great the way they are. But, I like a little…and I mean a little shredded parmesan cheese on my Fruit Day Spaghetti sometimes and if I’m a little hungier I might even eat it with a piece of Ciabatta bread. Most of the time I eat gluten and dairy free…but occasionally a piece of bread and a little mozzarella is good for the soul. 😉
If I’m not back to write more before Thanksgiving…happy Thanksgiving to all and bountiful blessings always.
